Welcome to my weblog. I have been exploring various ways of communicating with friends and family overseas and have decided to give the "webblog" a go. It is fairly cheap and user friendly to edit and post posts, new pages as well as photos for all to see. And one can keep track of stats. I decided on the name being new to NZ and still finding my feet in this beautiful country, the country of "The Long White Cloud". It sometimes feels like that particularly if one enjoys skydiving (which I do) and rely on the weather to jump. I have had some pretty "interesting"jumps through clouds and ice so far.
For those newcomers to this site, perhaps just browsing through I have several interests and my motto in life is to try everything at least once. I am an adrenaline junky and enjoy sports which involve little danger or fear to get the juices going and make on feel alive. I get withdrawal symptoms ................ I regress, on these pages you will find links to travel (mostly on my BMW1200GS), skydiving and the like. Fortunately my wife Vanessa enjoys riding pillion on my bike so she joins me on my adventures and they become "our adventures". Pretty cool. I am trying to persuade her to get her bike licence ...........watch this space.
I don't have a lot of time to post on here but will attempt to keep it updated regularly so take your time, enjoy and post a comment should you be so inclined. Excuse the occasional spelling error - I type too fast !

Footnote: In May 2008 Vanessa and I relocated across "the ditch" to live and work in Australia. We loved travelling around NZ and had some magic experiences. Now we have a whole new country to explore. Live the life. I subsequently changed the name of the webblog to NZ and Oz !
